I'm trying to connect my dads cable, vcr, and dvd player to the tv but I'm having trouble. I've got a cable cord going from the wall to the cable box, and from the cable box to the vcr. Now I think I need to connect the vcr and the dvd player via a cable cord and then go from the dvd player to the tv but the dvd player doesn't have a place to attach a cable cord. So I tried connecting a yellow video cord from the vcr to the dvd hoping that would work but it didn't. There is a spot on the dvd player for a different type of cord labeld S and I don't know what that's for. Is that what I need? Help please techies!
