its an auxiliary power source not an auxiliary input
its just an extra socket for your phone charger, navigation, etc.
has nothing to do with sound.

Are you sure that's what it says? Often they're located next to the second cigarette lighter, inside the center console storage compartment. It should look like a headphone jack if it's equipped. There's no auxiliary input that looks like a cigarette lighter or uses that type of socket.

If you find the real auxiliary input, you'd use a cable that has a headphone plug on each end. One plugs into your iTouch headphone jack; the other into the aux input.

my cars manual says the aux input is the second cigarett lighter in the car. all of the aux cables ive seen arent for a cigarett lighter so i was wondering how do i connect it to my car?
the manual call it the auxiliary power point (12VDC)
