I got the VGA cord, plugged it in, but it wasn't showing up on my tv. I pressed fn and then f5 and tried to change it to the video mode, but my computer screen just turned completely dark until I unplugged the cord. How do I go about connecting it?
i tried changing the input of the tv to the one I plugged it in to, but it's not highlighted as showing up, so I can't do that. That's what I'm wondering how to do. The necessary input is not showing up highlighted.
