how do i connect a samsung k5 mp3 to windows media player?

it didn't come with a cd and im ready to sync it but i don't know how to connect it to windows media player

go into sync in windows media player then plug the mp3 player into the computer .then a pic of the mp3 player should come up and a bar showing how much memory is on the device then it should alow you to sync to the device
