how do i connect a mic to my car auxilary port?

i ordered some audio horns and i was trying to figure out how to plug a mic into my cars aux port, the mic works fine in my computer but not in my car, does the mic need to be powered somehow?
anyone know where i can get an amplified microphone, and how much it would cost?
