You don't confess your sins in church. Who made the priest holier than you? He is sinful like the rest of us as proven over and over.
Jesus said that only hypocrites go to church. (Matt)
Confess your sins to God privately, in your room/ cuboard as Jesus told us to.
God will hear you and bless you.
