My town thinks they can do NO wrong and when you take a stand to prevent them from destroying your property, the other depts laugh and tell you to MOVE....
The town hired outside contractors and built a road. It flooded my home and based upon MGL 258, I am not allowed to sue a town for damages. THe DPW super insisted they did nothing wrong, refused to acknowledge engineer reports etc and released their bond.
Now the town fire chief has decided that I did his buddy wrong (DPW super) and is trying to over extend his duties and harass me for anything he sees us do on the farm. Infact I over heard his Asst Chief telling another outside of the Post Office, that they will TEACH me a lesson about making trouble for their friends and this town.
I complained to Town Mger and he laughed and said there is nothing he can do.
I am keeping a log book and photos of it but anyone you try to talk to -tells me the town is corrupt, always has been and either pay off or move.
