how do i clean my fish tank?

i am getting a 200gallon or 400 gallon fish tank (what is the size length wise in meters) how should/often i clean it with a filter i want some bala shark and some cardinal tetras does that work can i get crabs and a lobster ?
also how do i cycle the tank exactly and how long should i wait before adding the fish thank you (what other fish should i get)

how do i cycle the tank and where do i get test items like ammonia test kits and stuff also like what do i put in the tank to cycle it. ..algae eaters. . .what are they anyway. . . .if i add a snail will the tank get dirtier?. . . .. . . . . . what fish should i get?????????????????????????????????????... do i put in the tank to cycle it and how big is the freaking tank?
 
No matter what size tank it is, you should still change 10-25% of the water every week (which in your case, is ALOT of water). No, adding a snail or 2 won't help keep your tank cleaner, they actually create more waste which means slightly more cleaning. You can get test kits at any pet store, such as Petco or Petsmart.
