How do I clean home heating oil out of clothes?

My hubby does HVAC for a living and works everyday with home heating oil. His company provides his clothes but we have to wash them. What works the best to get the stains and the smell out of the clothes? We have tried Clorox color safe bleach, Lestoil, Biz.......to no avail.....

If I could hang them outside to air dry, I would but that is not possible here.
