I had a betta fish for quite some time in a small aquarium. He got swim bladder about 3 months ago. I was unable to get rid of it before he finally died. I am about to get a new fish, but I dont want to put him in a tank that may have disease remnants. How should I clean the tank, gravel, plastic plants, etc. to make sure the disease doesnt come back for the new fish? Should I use bleach? Or is swim bladder a condition and not infectious? Any details would be great. Thank you!
