How do I clean a fish tank housing BOTH Tetras and Ghost Shrimp?

I have a school of 12 tetras and I am interested in adding some Ghost Shrimp, yes it can be done, I have done my research, but what I cannot find is how you CLEAN a tank with shrimp in it...? I don't want them sucked up and thrown away, especially because they are so tiny, yet I want to make sure the gravel and areas are cleaned frequently.
Please no rude comments, I want to know how to do this before I decide on getting the shrimp.
 
I would clean the tank how you normally clean it. You could always try and contain the ghost shrimp in something like a floating breeders container, or take them out the tank before beginning cleaning. Otherwise just leave them in there and empty the tank water into buckets and inspect the water before throwing it away to make sure no shrimps are in your bucket. I freaked out once when I thought I had done that to one of my baby bristlenoses, it was only about one and a half cms long! I found it hiding in the tank though lol.
