I have had a Wifi Hub for a while (BT Home hub - latest Black version)
I remember setting it up and adding a Wireless key - series of letters / numbers) and then I connected my Laptop and if I remember put in that Key too
When I bring my Works Laptop that too signs in automatically - but I dont ever remember entering the Password (Wireless Key)
My question is when I am away from home and search for Networks they appear and are listed as Security enabled and have a padlock - and if I do click on them it asks for a Password and what I want to know is whether a neighbour could use my Wifi hub or if a Car with a Laptop came outside could they get in ot would MY status have a padlock and ask THEM for a Password
If the answer is yes they could use my signal can someone tell me how to fix the problem
Sorry this is probably a very basic question but I cant find it asked anywhere else and if I have a potential problem I would like to fix it asap
