I am trying to do a project on color profiles. The instructions say to find the color curves on photoshop and then isolate a certain color ( red first, Save it, then green, then blue). I am working on adobe photoshop elements 8. I found the color curves, but it doesn't say anything about red blue or green. I really need help here. Thanks.
I have the color curves up, but there is no menu with red green and blue. there is some options to darken and lighten, but nothing about what I am looknig for

Usually to open colour curves it's either Command-M (Mac) or Control-M (Win). Then you select the individual channels from the top of that dialogue box (there's a pop-up that by default shows 'RGB').
