First you will need about 5 quarts of oil, an oil filter, and an oil catch container. This job is also a lot easier if you get a set of car ramps and drive your car up on them. Pop the hood, and remove the oil fill cap, place it to the side. Look for the oil pan once you are underneath the car, when you find it unscrew the bolt at the bottom. The oil should start flowing out into the oil catch. While the oil is comming out lookfor thee oil filter. It will look just like the new one you purchased, and when you find it unscrew it. Oil will come out of that too, so be careful. Take some fresh oil, put it on your finger, and rub the rubber seal on the new oil filter. That will help get a better seal when you put it on. Screw the new filter on. Put the bolt back in the oil pan, and go back to the engine bay. Put 4 quarts of oil in the car, and check it. It will probably be low, so add another quart and you should be good. Start the car and look underneath for any leaks. If no leaks you are done.
