how do i change the banner/headline on my phone?

I want to change the headline thing on my phone. Its the thing that says "AT&T" on my screen when i open my phone. I have an LG Xenon. Is there anyway I can change it?
 
first, u go to settings then display there is a list. look for banner and press ok then put in what u want it to say. or u go to wallpaper and press ok then look for banner. i hope i helped!!! :)
