How do i change a transparent background in Photoshop into a color?

Well i made a picture in Photoshop in a transparent background, i was wondering how i can change the transparency to a color. I dont care if i have to rasterise of make a new document to put the layers in, i just need to set a backgroud color. Thanks.

put a layer behind the picture layer with the transparency and use the fill bucket and just color the whole thing
