I'm on too big of a strict budget. I absolutely cannot rent a tiller, nor do I have someone in which to borrow one. There's a garden that's pretty much ready to for use, except that it is LOADED with weeds.
Can I simply spray it with a grass and weed killer, then fertilize it to re-nourish it, or what? Totally new at gardening, but there's a big rectangle that's just screaming to be worked, so I'd love to get some ideas.
