I am a sophmore at community college, working for a bachelors in mechanical engineering. I have an interest in doing engineering work for the military Ie: tanks, ships, vehicles, weapons, jets, ect. I'm not sure which of those I'd prefer to work on yet, but all sound right up my alley. Anyways, I was wondering what I had to do to get in those fields? Do i have to get a bachelors in mechanical engineering first, or Is there a way for me to enlist in the military and get a bachelors in engineering while being enlisted? does the military train or help train people for those types of jobs? I'd rather enlist and get trained than get the bachelors first because I really don't have the money to go to college.
