my husband would like to go to college to become a history teacher. there is a two year program called "secondary education- social studies" at our local community college. the website does not give much information. would this be a sufficient degree to teach high school or middle school history classes? if not can someone tell me what he needs to do? preferably at least one year at a community college to start with the basics so we can stay in this town a little longer. after that what should his major be at a university and what degree will he have to have? (masters, bachelors... etc)
