I live in Tucson, AZ and I got a photo radar ticket and NEED to beat it. This is the situation, I was going maybe 3-4 miles over the speed limit and needed to go to an interview . I decided to make a left hand turn on yellow and when I was right in the middle of completing that turn the yellow left turn light turned off and I was snapped by the camera. I went on a yellow light and I was already half way through the turn and I really think this ticket is a load of crap . I got the ticket a month later and it says for running a red light. The pictures are so small that you cant see the turn signal. I was thinking of ignoring it and letting them try serving me in person but then sending them the info and fighting it in court. I cant afford this ticket right now !!! If I ignore will I get a warrant? what are the circumstances? I need options. I cant pay up because I dont have the $$$$$
No court date on it. Oh and I forgot to add that when I got the ticket I called the number to find out more information . They asked for the ticket number and my name and all they told me to do was fill out the back of the letter with the drivers information and send it back THEN they will send a letter with all of my options. I dont think I deserve the ticket, I cant prove what really happened. But if the ticket isnt served in person just by mail, if you dont respond they can still put a warrant out for you? I m reading that It should be served in person.
