I am doing a huge 6 feet oil paint with only 2 colors: white oil and black oil paint. I am using oil tubes. I noticed that in my earlier paintings, the white begins to turn yelowish after a few months. Hence I researched and found that I need to use 'Flake Hue White' as the first layer of white so that the paint does not crack on drying. The second layer should be 'Titanium White' as this white does not tend to turn yellow when dry but remains white. Also I was advised not to use 'linseed oil' when using white as it tends to make white yellow. Now I see a marked improvement in my white oil paintings, the paint remains whiter almost 80% whiter. However i still see a little bit, maybe 20 % of yelllowish after the paint dries. How can I eliminate this 20% of yellowing?
