How do i avoid simple errors during quizes/tests?

since i was a young kid, i always got the hard questions right, but screwed up during the wrong ones.
e.g.
15*3=45
10-3=6

just an example of somtin when i was in grade 1.
so wut r some tips in preventing these from happening.
my teacher always gives us a lot of tiem to complete them, so i dont really wory too much about time.
