Aside from advertising of course. I just started my online comic book store. The first shipment of merchandise has yet to arrive. In the meantime I'm not sure what to do to get people to choose my store over larger, established names. Part of the problem is that for the initial push my stock will be small until I can gauge how well the business is doing. I don't want the first customers to get scared away thinking I will have less than the competitor (which I will at first, of course).
How do I attract customers to a new online business?
