job interview? I have applied at vet clinics to be an assistant, and i have done an internship at a vet clinic during a summer break, it was required for us to graduate, well the place wasn't very nice to me. They didn't want me to help with anything, they didn't let me do anything, they would complain to the manager about me all the time, and it was bunch of backstabbing females.

I never did one bad thing to them, never complained and was always polite and always did offer my help but they would always tell me to go away, and yes they were that rude about it. I only got along with two doctors there, but i didn't ask if i could use them references because when my 300hrs were up, i just left and never showed up again.

When i go to job interviews at vet clinics they always ask about experience, well i don't want them to think that i didn't get any (which in away i basically didn't) but i don't want to tell them that i did have an internship and they didn't let me do anything and they were rude, cuz i know they look down on you when you bad mouth other businesses. I usually tell them the only experience that i have is what i learned and got from school, but i didn't know if there was a better way to answer that question, without making it sound like i was bad mouthing someone, and/or making it sound like i didn't get any clinical experience.

p.s I don't have that place mentioned on my resume and i usually don't put it down as a work history i did get paid while i was interning.
