I have a desktop computer that I want to connect to a TV as well to to watch TV shows and movies through the use of a S Video Cable. I got a video card with a VGA connection and an S Video connection. I have the monitor plugged into the new card and an S Video cable also plugged into the new card and running to the TV. I turned on the computer and the monitor works fine, but the signal on the TV is a bunch of lines. I tried changing the resolution of the display for the computer to 800x600, but still nothing shows on the TV. The drivers that came with the new card don't work with my version of windows so I am in the process of getting the correct drivers? Could this be causing the issue with the TV? I also am getting a PC to TV converter to see if this will help fix the signal issue with the TV S Video signal. Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong, or if the nonexistent drivers are the issue, or a piece of hardware I am forgetting is the issue?
