Given they play on the fears of ordinary people, are holding our planet to ransom simply because they are unwilling or unable to accept reality, and will ultimately cause the death or misery of millions of human beings by doing nothing.
Scientists and politicians don't have all the answer (we still can't find a cure for cancer or AIDS) but sceptics expect them to have a rock solid, scientifically proven case before any action can be taken.
Will sceptics survive the future by learning to eat gold and drink oil?...because food and water will become scarcer.
