A Christian just told me that she did in fact test the Christian god concept to see if it was real before believing in it. This is what she wrote, “I do tell them (her offspring) how I found out for myself that God is real. I tell them how to test him and apply their faith and then judge for themselves the results.” She went on to write some gibberish about the bible and a “Holy Spirit” (whatever the hell that is) but if she tested this invisible god concept then applied faith, then what was the point in testing? If I was a teacher and I had faith that my students were learning what I was teaching them, then I wouldn’t bother testing them! Why is simple logic such a confusing process for religious people?
