How difficult is it to learn how to belly dance?

I don't dance in public, though I'm not a bad dancer.. I tend to dance only when im ALONE or with a person I really trust.
I wanted to learn how to belly dance, though, and I do have the contact details of teachers around the area I live in.. although I have no clue how to move my hips or anything.
Should I do it?
 
try it ! where there is a will there is a way! go for it ! nothing is impossible! if u cant do it u can discontinue whenever good luck=D
