It depends on the course to some degree, but if you're an International student with reasonable high school or undergraduate grades and have met any subject prerequisites, you shouldn't have any trouble at all in gaining acceptance - Australian universities love full fee paying International students. JCU won't be interested in any extracurricular and will only take your academic results into account.
