How difficult is it for an Indian to get financial aid for admission into a good US

university? II'm in my 11th(Junior) year now. I got a 90% in my last national exam(2009). I'm sure I'll get a SAT score of 2250+. We don't have the GPA system here. I'm into social service(not heavily though). I'm also into sports but only at school level. I'm looking for an Electronic or Architectural Engineering major.
