How did you go about finding a celebrant or someone to marry you outdoors?

We are having a nonreligious ceremony. We are using a jury clerk from out municipal building. We found her by asking around and finding out who married our friends.

We are having an outdoor ceremony and need to find someone to marry us ... but I don't know how to go about finding someone. Any advice? How did you find someone to perform your ceremony?
Just thought I should add that we don't go to church and would like a non denominational ceremony.
