how did you get introduced to anime?

Battle of the planets, G-Force, Voltron, and Robotech were on tv. Naussicaa was the first actual anime movie I saw (at a library showing), and that led to everything else.
 
I caught DBZ, Sailor Moon, and I think Voltron, on USA in the 90s, when they had their cartoon block. That sparked my DBZ obsession, which lead to my interest in other anime.
 
I got addicted by anime from code geass and started from there.When i was starting I was lie''Subs suck hard''' but then got used to it.
 
i went over to my friends house and saw he was watching Naruto (legend of the stone of gelel). i thought it was kinda annoying at first but one day i was trying to figure out what to get on netflix and i thought of that show. i decided to start watching it and i loved it. then later i started watching the last airbender and it kept on going from that. im not sure what point i figured out it was 'anime' though.
