I believe he started out in the insurance business then got into buying stocks. He always took a long position and bought stocks from companies he liked, such as Dairy Queen. He has a book out that you might find in a library. It explains everything he did. Ask anyone at a bookstore and they'll know the name of it, Im sure. He's a pretty cool dude.
