...help with research paper*~? I need to write a 7 to 10 page research paper for my American lit class, and one of the topics is The Salem Witch Trails. I know about the cruelty and burning, but I can't find much information on how these trials changed America's trials today. What kind of impact (good and bad) they had, and so on. I have to come up with a good topic with the guide lines of: a narrowly-defined, manageable topic, rather than a very general, broad topic. As well as a thesis. My topic must argue a thesis -that is, something I must are try to prove about The Salem Witch Trials. And, it is not enough to say what happened and when - I have to argue the historical significance of my topic.
