How did the people in the Nazi contraction camp get murdered ?

They were given starvation diets and worked. Early in the war they shot them, put them in buses with the exhaust directed inside. They used various poisons until finally they came up with a gas they pumped into 'shower chambers' they put the new arrivals that could not work into- or those who had gotten too weak.
They also did 'medical experiments' on them- the infamous Dr. Mengele, who did all kinds of cruel things to people, most very unscientific.
 
The people were starved to death, worked to death, beaten for the pure fun of the Nazis, dogs set on them. They were also asked to take a shower but it was in fact a gas chamber and their bodies buried in a communal hole/pit or burnt in the ovens. It was alleged that some people were not always dead after the showers but they were still thrown into the burial pit or the ovens.
 
They were mostly gassed in gas chambers disguised as showers. The poison commonly used was Zyklon B.
But there was also the extermination through work. Meaning people were literally forced to work themselves to death.
btw: The Holocaust consisted not only of concentration camps. Many victims of the Holocaust were shot or died during death marches.
 
When a new group of people arrived about half were killed. The rest were put on a starvation diet and either did work or just stayed in the camp. The people in concentration camps died from starvation, being shot or beaten, or being gassed.
