civilization? How did this system impact how western civilization works...either political or social view. And well any other tips that could help!

Well, think about it: for a long time afterward (and even still today somewhat) people with money (land) controlled what the people with no money did. So even though we're not serfs and lords anymore - the guy that works at McDonalds to support his family probably feels like he's owned by the guy who owns the company. The guy who owns the company has a lot more power. He has a lot more say in what's going to happen than the fry cook does. It's all about money. If you have money, you have power, if you have power, you control what happens.

feudalism is basically where people who live near kingdoms pay the kings of those kingdoms with labor in exchange for living on their land and protection from barbarians. they becam "free slaves". they got the protection that they sought but in exchange they had to do labor for the king. this practice was adopted all over western civilization and is still used today. it is like if you rent a house. you pay the owner of that house for a place to stay but it is still their house.
