I think you should do some research...

The most obvious thing that farming provided people was stability. They didn't have to follow the animals migration patterns or follow the animals across hundreds of miles.

They could set up in one place and develop houses, farms. That provides stability which allows for the development of language, trading with other towns, etc...

With farming, people were no longer nomads running across the world.
