I am in Adv. Placement US history and as a side project we are doing a project on music and how it effected our social culture in America. I understand that Techno was not laregely an American movement and seems to be more so focussed in Germany from what i've read. But i need to know how it effected our culture from the 60's-90's. No new techno. Just older stuff. I need to have three focus bands and they are Kraftwerk (they were a German group who seem like one of the founders of Techno). Yaz/Yazoo (they made it big in America). Plus i'm stuck between Orbital and The Prodigy.
