I was afraid to have sex after I had given birth as well, I waited the recommened waiting time given by my doctor and then some, so it was probably like 3 or 4 months after my baby that I'd had sex again. And for me it was just like having sex any other time, but better, my fiance was more in tune to my needs making sure that he didnt hurt me, that was probably one of the best times in my experiances. But everyone is different so if you've waited the time your doctor suggested waiting and you feel ready and your doctor gives you the okay then go for it, but like I said everyone is different so I dont think it will hurt you but it might feel weird, who knows. But it was still felt the same to me. Good luck though and dont worry, you'll be fine.
