Im anxious to get mine.
My parents have never allowed me to go to a friends house and rarely let me leave home. They always come up with an excuse like "we are too tired to take you". Every party and every after school sport/ performance I want to go to, my parents don't take me to. I have a friend over at my house maybe once every month or two, and whenever I do my parents complain about it. Even though all we do is toss a football outside. I cant join a sport because parents refuse to drive me.
And now, when i can finally drive, my parents use up the money that would've bought me a car to go on a vacation. I cant even get a job because they won't drive me anywhere.
To me getting my car will equal the first time I am given freedom, and the first time I can truly be happy with my life? What did getting a car feel like to you?
