Christianity developed as an amalgam of Hebrew and Greek thought. Not only were the gospels written in Greek, but also we see all kinds of elements of Aristotle in Christianity.

The Arabs preserved Greek writings, which were later re-discovered by European Christians, but they never really adopted many Arab ideas. Some elements of Arab, particularly language, did become part of European culture, most notably in Spain.
