How deep should cement be to hold the weight of a car?

I got a 1970 Dodge Charger project car, and I need to build a cement pad for a engine lift, car jacks, etc...
How deep should it be to keep it from cracking?

4 inches is heaps....make sure you use steel mesh in the concrete.
