Emery at the BARGAIN BASEMENT price of 1.5 MM for one year. GREAT signing....a premiere goalie (with attitude yes) for a back-up price in tough salary cap times!

Thoughts?
Joe...BETTER goalie IMO for much LESS! I agree......might make more moves to make room for Bouwmeester, they really want him! heatley would look good there too! Dream weaving!
 
I agree this was a great signing for the Flyers. Obviously they're taking a chance on his attitude but if it pays off, he could be the difference between a first round exit and a Stanley Cup for the Flyers. He is one of the best goalies in the league when he wants to be.
 
Great pickup in my opinion. If he has 1/2 a brain at all he should keep the attitude in check, if he blows this one it will be his last NHL chance. Does this mean that Biron is gone? I think so.

Joe, be careful if you see a white Hummer coming up behind you, he like to push guys who drive like little old ladies off the road.

I'll take Knuble/Lupul off your hands.

Hello Jay Bouwmeester!!!At first when I heard Emery signing I thought WTF but this guy has skillz and if it can open a ton of cap space then I'm all aboard!!
