How could the Garden of Eden have been perfect if Satan was able to get in?

That would've been on MY checklist. Just saying. If you won the lottery and got to build your dream home, wouldn't it have a hell of a security system? God, being all-powerful and all-knowing should have kept Satan out to begin with.
A "good" place also does not have the most evil being in existence lurking around either, does it?
