How could my history effect my girlfriend's clearance?

My financial history is a complete mess, including a foreclosure, IRS issues, etc. I am working to resolve all these issues, but I'm concerned about my girlfriend's clearance. She works for a federal contractor and has a high level clearance - at least a TS/SCI polygraph. My understanding is that as long as we're just dating and not living together - this shouldn't have any effect on her clearance. My concern is looking down the road - what if we were to get married? Certainly at this point, she would have to report this to investigators. Does she stand to lose her clearance because of my history?
 
I've seen people lose their clearance for less, but I've also seen people keep their clearance doing more. I think you all will be OK because it isn't necessarily a criminal record and if they see you are working to clear it up, I believe she will be fine.
