Will you vote labour back in and what conditions would you like to be met?
Crime, FEAR, and Policing question?
We have seen a little more than surveys by the government done, though some of the foundations and institutes apply to government for funding- they predominately use charitable donations.
In Stoke on Trent (just for one example) people of an elderly age have been constantly canvassed for information over a spread of at least the last 3 yrs and have expressed a FEAR of criminality around them, a fear to walk out at a certain time of night, a fear of walking past groups of teenagers etc.
Even though Kent police slag off the 'time spent' by PCSO's in the station- they agree it has had an effect on communities by providing these PCSO's. It is a well known fact that to conquer our fears is at least half the battle won.
Knowing that our Ministry of Justice are trying to change the developments in criminality and knowing they procured the largest budget they could (astronomical), do you not think that should we allow LABOUR to get back in- we ought to canvass for a better budget for the MOJ than is proposed?
Just to re-inforce my arguament, we have to understand that those in administrative positions can actually keep police officers on the streets for longer and they have a big influence on councils and where such councils allow convicted paedophiles to live etc (who wants a paedo given a council flat facing a school etc?).
To take away half the administration over immigration is appaulling and to allow our country to go into chaos would mean the last 20yrs of evolution will be thrown away- lets try and think about what America is like and how we follow suit on most things- I'd like us to change direction and use the information coming to us to make our system better than theirs- and hopefully they'll follow us etc etc- why should we allow ourselves to sink further just because of our ignorance when voting?
What are your thoughts and do you condone a spanner being thrown in the works by not voting labour back in?
Can we pressure Labour to guarrantee the MOJ get what they need before actually voting them in?

I see that the budgets already spent have not been sufficient and money still needs to be pumped into the justice sector but don't see how we can vote labour back in if they aren't going to do this.
When we need to feel safe and live our lives without anxiety we thus need authority, maybe not just restrictive laws, but someone there to "keep the queens peace" as they are paid to do- I can't see them doing this in their nice shiny ,top of the range cars and only going out to crimes reported. There needs to be a police prescence in society- not just camara's.
