I recently purchased and LED TV Series 8000..it has 4 HDMI inputs, only 1 Component input, and 1 DVI/ 1 optical input...The lone Component input is being taken up by my surround sound out, which has 2 component inputs/1 component output.
Addition things that I am trying to hook up are my Xbox 360, which I connected straight to the TV via one of the HDMI inputs, my cable box which is hooked directly to a second HDMI input, and my Wii which is connected through one of the Component inputs in my surround sound receiver.
My problem is with the Wii. The Wii does not put out an HDMI cable (and does not even have an HDMI output on the console) and my lone component input in the LED TV is being taken up. So basically I have to turn on my surround sound receiver in order to play Wii. I don't want to have to do this because it will confuse my kids when they want to play it..
How could I go about hooking my Wii directly to the TV, does a female component to male HDMI cable exist? That is the only way I can think of hooking it directly to my TV...any suggestions? Thanks.
