how could i make my suzuki intruder faster without blowing or messing up the engine?

i have a suzuki intruder vl 125 cc and ive just done my test i really like my bike and its in great condition and dont want a bigger 1 i was told i might be able to knock it up a few hp i was wondering how this can be done and any other ideas on upgrading the bike a bit more would be lovely thanks
