...living amongst ? I have a wooden shed in my garden that I noticed a hole in that just got bigger over a period of 2 weeks. I then seen droppings on the shed floor. As I was emptying the shed a rat scarpered through the hole. I then got an old golf club, after a bit of poking around there was another rat that come straight towards me, which I killed. Then the mother come out which was huge and escaped. I killed another one then the last one escaped. All in all there was 5 rats. They have been living amongst a bag of old fishing clothes and there where droppings everywhere and a stench of ammonia.
I keep some very expensive equipment in the shed including brolly/tent system worth £350 that has been chewed beyond repair and 2 children's football set, which had been partially eaten. I have other equipment such as golf clubs, loads more fishing equipment plus other thing of value. Could anyone advise me how I cold clean this equipment as I am aware of the diseases that rats can pass on.
