I am currently in high school and I have been working with the 3D modeling and animation program, Blender, for a good 2 years and have begun working with Autodesk Maya for about 4-5 months. I love working with these programs and I am submitting animations to competitions annually with an animation team at my school. I am seriously thinking about doing this for a living in the future. I am taking a look at colleges, but what I want to know is how competitive is this field of work? How many people do this for a living?
